A lot in my life has changed since I joined this group back in May 2020, which warrants another testimonial. This change would not have been possible without this group and predominantly the mentorship of @Newton , which I consider a friend.
Past 7 years I have worked in the R&D department of Danone Nutricia, which is a big multi-national. Spending 5 of those years in Brazil. Nevertheless, 2 months ago I handed in my resignation and as of this week I will be trading full-time. This news came as a big surprise for my employer, especially since I was in a high potential trajectory and was getting good results with major impact for the business.
Trading however is my passion and I love the freedom that it brings! This would never have been possible at current speed without finding Newton and this group. The atmosphere and content in this group makes it a breeding ground for good traders, for which I’m happy to be part off.
One of my main learnings Is that trading is a journey which leads to different paths for everyone, at different speeds. I’ve noticed that my strategies are always evolving and getting more sophisticated over time, where I see myself now as a hybrid of traditional manual trading and quantitative trading. Preserving mental capital is imo key in order to make the right decisions at the right time – psychology is key after all!
So once again, Newt thanks for your mentorship, content and friendship! Continue making people lives change mate!
